Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has announced that the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit arrested Mr. Darius Evans, 45, of Jersey City, in connection with the stabbing death of 39-year-old Tyrone Haskins on January 1, in Jersey City.

Former Morris Catholic Teacher, Coach Charged with Sex Crimes

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Acting Chief of Investigations Chris Kimker, and Denville Police Chief Frank Perna announce that Carlos A. Franco-Leon, 42, of Rockaway Township, has been charged with six counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(2)(b), a crime of the first degree; two counts of second degree Sexual Assault in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2c(3)(b); and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1), a crime of the second degree.

Union City Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting 15-Year-Old Girl

According to Hudson County officials, on January 17, at approximately 9:40 p.m., members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested William Romero, 28, of Union City, on charges involving the sexual assault of a 15-year-old female victim from Union City.

UPDATE: Plainsboro Math Tutor Charged with Touching Three Additional Minors

Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey, Chief Fred Tavener of the Plainsboro Police Department, and Chief Raymond J. Hayducka of the South Brunswick Police Department announced that a math tutor in Plainsboro charged on July 3, with inappropriately touching a 15-year old student has also been charged with criminal conduct involving three additional victims.
