New Brunswick Man Charged with Multiple Drug Charges, Other Offenses

Authorities in Middlesex County announced that a New Brunswick man was arrested and charged with drug and weapons offenses.

Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone stated that the Middlesex County Narcotics Task Force investigated a large-scale Cocaine and Heroin distributor identified as Kevin Gause, 57, of New Brunswick.

The investigation, which lasted several months, revealed that Gause was distributing narcotics, MCPO officials say. 

According to Middlesex County officials, the investigation resulted in the arrest of Gause and the seizure of approximately 506.15 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 2,239 wax folds of heroin, one Taurus .9 caliber pistol, and one GAMO .22 caliber CO2 pellet air rifle.

Middlesex County authorities said Gause was charged with:

-one count of first-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance

-two counts of second-degree Possession With Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance

-one count of third-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance

-one count of Second-degree possession of a Weapon While Committing a Controlled Dangerous Substance Offense

-two counts of second-degree Possession with Intent to distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 feet of a Park

-one count of second-degree Certain Persons not to Possess Firearms

-four counts of third-degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance

-one count of third-degree Money Laundering,

-two counts of fourth-degree Distribution of Drug Paraphernalia

The investigation is active and continuing, MCPO officials said.
