Authorities in Ocean County announced that on November 14, the Honorable Dina M. Vicari, J.S.C., ordered that Emiliano Davila, 41, of Keansburg, shall remain detained in the Ocean County Jail.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer stated it was on the charge of Murder in connection with the death of Mary O’Connor, 32, of Seaside Heights.
Davila is also being detained on the charge of Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault by way of Strangulation in connection with the same incident, which occurred on November 3, 2025, in Seaside Heights, OCPO officials say.
Ocean County officials said that Ms. O’Connor succumbed to her injuries sustained as a result of the incident on November 5.
