Two Charged With Severely Abusing 3-Year-Old Girl in East Orange

Newark – Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and East Orange Public Safety Director Dominick Saldida announced today that Mr. Tevin Molentiel, 28, and Ms. Tamika Dorsey, 36, both of East Orange, have been charged with multiple child abuse offenses following an investigation by the Special Victims Unit of the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.

U.S. Army Major, Wife Resentenced for Abusing Developmentally Disabled Adopted Children

NEWARK, N.J. – A former U.S. Army major and his wife were sentenced today for their respective roles in abusing their adopted children, who all were less than 4 years old and developmentally delayed, through neglectful and cruel acts, including breaking their bones, denying them medical attention, withholding water and force-feeding them hot sauce, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.
