A late-night incident at Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes prompted a significant police response after four juveniles were reportedly spotted inside the building.
The incident happened shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday at the school, located in the 300 block of George Street.
According to preliminary information, police responded after four juveniles were observed on security cameras inside the school, prompting additional law enforcement units to assist at the scene.
Officers secured the area and ultimately took all four juveniles into custody without any reported injuries.
Police also checked the building as part of their investigation to determine whether anything had been left behind or if there were any additional concerns inside the school.
The circumstances surrounding how the juveniles entered the building and why they were there have not been officially confirmed.
