Authorities in Bergen County, along with the United States Postal Inspection Service, are investigating a late-night burglary at the Maywood Post Office on West Pleasant Avenue that left federal mail missing and three suspects on the run.

According to initial reports, officers were dispatched to the post office after receiving information that multiple individuals had broken into the building overnight.
Investigators believe three males were involved in the burglary, with at least one suspect described as wearing all black clothing and a face mask.
The group is suspected of stealing U.S. mail before fleeing the scene in what witnesses described as a gray Honda Accord or Toyota Camry.
The vehicle reportedly had no front license plate and was last seen traveling west on West Pleasant Avenue.
The suspects remain at large as the investigation continues.
Federal postal police and local law enforcement are urging anyone with information to contact their local police department or the U.S. Postal Inspection Service immediately.
