Emergency responders and a SWAT team were called to Linden late Monday morning following reports of a domestic violence-related shooting.

Initial reports indicated that the incident began around 10:15 a.m. in the 600 block of Carnegie Street after reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they encountered a woman at the scene, though it has not been immediately confirmed whether she sustained a gunshot injury.
Sources in the neighborhood told RLS Media that the suspect, believed to be the woman’s boyfriend, barricaded himself inside a home before suffering an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He is reportedly in ‘grave’ condition.
The area remains secured by law enforcement, though officials have indicated there is no active threat to the public.
