Authorities are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital overnight in Orange.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the area of Hillyer and Central Aveune shortly before 8:30 p.m. where officers arrived to find two people shot at that location.
One of the victims suffered a gunshot wound to the leg while the other victim was struck to the hand according to initial reports form the scene.
Both individuals were taken to University Hospital in newark where their injuries were not reported as life threatening according to reports.
There were no reports of arrests made.
In another shooting that was reported in the city, police are looking for a white Ford Focus that was occupied by several black male suspects who are wanted in connection to an incident where shots were fired in the area of Washington Street and North Day overnight.
There were no injuries immediately reported in this shooting.
