Authorities in Orange are searching for the suspect wanted for a late night shooting that sent a woman to the hospital suffering serious injuries in Orange.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the Cleveland Street at around 11:15 p.m. where arriving officers canvassing the scene found a woman inside a vehicle struck by bullets according to preliminary reports.
EMS transported the woman to University Hospital in Newark in stable condition after she was struck in the back at that location.
Police searched the area for evidence and a motive for the shooting as there were no immediate reports to indicate the woman was the target of the shooting.
Officers canvassing the scene found shell casings, but there were no others victims found.
