Willingboro Police reported one person injured in a shooting that occurred in the city on Sunday.
The late-night incident happened around 11:40 p.m. in the 100 block of Echohill Lane.
Officers were dispatched to the area to investigate several 911 calls reporting shots fired and when they arrived, police found an unidentified person suffering a bullet wound in his knee.
Police say the victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.
No other injuries were reported.
