EMS transported a senior woman and her grandchild to St. Barnabas Medical Center for evaluation after a car struck them earlier this afternoon in Orange.
The incident happened at the intersection of Main Street and South Essex Avenue shortly before 2 p.m. when the woman was attempting to cross the street with the infant, a red vehicle struck the pair and kept going according to preliminary reports.
The woman and child did not suffer serious injuries.
Orange Police are looking for the driver of the car.
