According to a statement released by police, on Friday at approximately 1:27am, the Willingboro Township Police Department was dispatched to the single digits block of JFK Way at the Knights of Columbus to investigate reports of a shooting.
Officials say responding officers located a 29-year-old Pennsauken resident suffering a single gunshot wound to the groin.
Police say the victim was airlifted to Cooper Hospital in Camden for treatment in stable condition.
Willingboro detectives responded to the scene and are investigating the shooting.
