Update: Hillside Police Recover Missing Rutgers Student's Car in Orange

A missing Rutgers student's car was found in Orange yesterday after she was seen on campus studying inside a college dorm.

Yesterday sometime around 6 p.m., Brianna A. Thomas, 20, of Hillside was reported missing.

According to police, she was last inside a college dorm room at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, where she was studying with a friend. Police reportedly found Brianna's laptop computer in the dorm room but no one has any contact with her since then.

Brianna is approximately 5’3” tall, she was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue and white sweater with hearts, a blue vest, and blue “Uggs” boots with her hair in a ponytail.

Her vehicle - a black 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix - was found yesterday on Highland Avenue near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue in Orange. It’s being towed by Hillside police as part of our investigation.

The case is being actively investigated by the Hillside police detective bureau.

As of this date and time Miss Thomas is still missing.
