UPDATE: 31-Year-Old Belleville Resident Shot in the Leg in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 1:20, a.m. on members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Nagle Street Paterson on a report of a shooting.

Officials say, upon arrival the police located evidence of a crime scene and a 31-year-old male Belleville resident who suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
