An overnight shooting in Long Branch is under investigation.
Police were called to the parking lot of the Monmouth Medical Center located in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue where they found a vehicle with the windows shot out with two people suffering gunshot wounds shortly before midnight according to preliminary reports.
A crime scene was established in at an address on Rockwell Avenue where officers searched for evidence that may have been connected to the shooting.
The victim's injuries were no immediately reported as life threatening.
The shooting is under investigation.
