Police have deemed a suspicious unattended package left near Belleville High School to be safe.
According to authorities, Belleville police responded early this morning to the area of Passaic Avenue near Belleville High School for a report of an unattended package.
Police say Passaic Avenue was closed and the package was secured as officers investigated.
According to authorities, the package was found to be a cosmetics bag, and it was deemed safe.
Students have since returned to class.
