There was an overnight search for a suspects who are wanted for a shooting that seriously injured a man in Orange on Thursday evening.
Gunfire rang out inside a parking lot in the 200 block of North Day Street shortly before 7 p.m. rushing several police units to the scene where officers located multiple shell casings but no victim was ever found.
A male victim suffering a gunshot injury to the face reportedly left the scene of the shooting and drove to the area of Park Avenue and North Day where residents in the area observed heavy police presence and a man bleeding from the face before EMS transported the man to University Hospital where officials listed him in serious but stable condition.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the the victim (who was with several occupants inside his vehicle) was approached in the parking lot by two unidentified black males who reportedly began to open fire on the victim's vehicle before running from the scene in an unknown direction.
The victim reportedly sped away from the scene and contacted police at the Park Avenue location where officers set up a crime scene.
One of the suspects was reportedly wearing dark colored pant and a hoodie. He was accompanied by aback male who was wearing an orange or red shirt according to reports.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
