A late night shooting in Orange is under investigation by police.
The incident was reported shortly before midnight in the area of Kenilworth Place and Webster Place where police rushed to the scene after receiving reports of shots fired at that location.
Arriving units found a male, who stated to police, that two black male suspects approached and began a confrontation with him then fired shots in his direction according to reports.
The suspects reportedly ran from the scene and into a waiting vehicle immediately after the shooting.
Police recovered several shell casings at the scene.
There were no injuries reported.
Police are investigating a motive for the shooting.
