Police in Orange are investigating a shooting that happened at short time ago in the city.
Reports of shots fire sent several units to the the 300 block of Alden Street shortly before 7 p.m. where they found a male victim shot to the abdomen at that location.
The victim was transported by EMS to University Hospital in Newark where his condition is unknown.
Police setup a crime scene where they searched for evidence and a possible shooter.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
