Police are investigating a broad-daylight shooting that left one man critically injured Saturday afternoon in Linden.
According to officials, at approximately 3:25 p.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of Fedor Avenue following reports of gunfire.
When they arrived, they discovered a male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.
Emergency crews treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to RWJBarnabas Health Rahway Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
The incident remains under active investigation.
