Reward Offered in Fatal Shooting of Camden Man

The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction in a Camden fatal shooting in May.

The victim, Stanley Brown, was found lying on the ground after Camden County Police responded at approximately 10:52 p.m. on May 23, 2016 to the 400 block of S. 30th Street in reference to a ShotSpotter activation.

Brown, a 34-year-old Camden resident, was transported to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at approximately 11:27 p.m.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Camden County Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men who may have information pertaining to this fatal shooting of Brown.

Surveillance video footage shows a black male wearing a white shirt and dark pants and then a black male wearing a black baseball hat, a gray zipper-down jacket and tan pants walking toward the first man.

Detectives would like to speak with these men.

Members of the public should not approach these men (photos are below), but should call police if they have information pertaining to their identity or whereabouts.
