Police Rescue Man That Fell into Route 287 Creek in Bridgewater After Stopping to Urinate

BRIDGEWATER NJ: EMS transported a male victim to the hospital who fell into a creek after stopping on the side of the road on Rt. 287 south near mile marker 17.

According to reports, the victim reportedly pulled over on the side of the road after he felt the urge to urinate when he lost his footing and fell into the creek.

NJ State Police arrived to the scene and rescued the victim from the creek where he was then transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital according to reports.

The man's injuries were not immediately reported to be serious.

Police have launched an investigation into a possible DWI charge.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
