Orange Police are investigating a shooting that happened in the city overnight.
Reports of shots fired had cops in the area of Washington Street and High Street a little after 10:30 p.m. where police found one person injured by gunfire according to reports.
The victim was transported to University Hospital suffering a non-life threatening injury according to reports.
Police searched the area and set up a crime scene where they detained at least one person in the area of Watchung Avenue and Alden Street reports said.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
