Pedestrian Strike Temporarily Closes Morris Avenue in Union

Police in Union are investigating a pedestrian crash that temporarily shut down a portion of Morris Avenue Wednesday evening.

According to police officials, the crash occurred near 2840 Morris Avenue shortly before 9:30 p.m.

Police say a car collided with a pedestrian, causing severe injuries.

The victim was taken to University Hospital and is expected to survive. Police said that the driver stopped and remained at the scene.

No charges have been filed at this time.
