Police in Orange are investigating an overnight shooting that left one person injured in the city.
A male victim suffering injury from gunfire was transported to University Hospital in Newark by private vehicle shortly before 10:30 p.m.
It is not immediately known where the victim was shot but there were several reported instances of gunfire on Mechanic Street near Rt 280 and a reported shooting on Taylor Street.
The victim's injuries were not reported to be life threatening.
