A confirmed overnight shooting that happened in Orange left one person injured according to authorities.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the 30's block of Bell Street at around 2 a.m. where officers arrived to the scene to find a male victim reportedly suffering a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital where his injuries were reported as serious.
Police searched the area for two black males who were last observed leaving the area in a dark colored Nissan Murano.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
