Authorities in Orange are continuing a search for suspects wanted for a shots fired incident that occurred in the city on Wednesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, residents in the vicinity of Hickory Street and Freeway Drive West contacted police after hearing about a half-dozen loud popping noises at around 11:30 a.m.
Fast responding police officers arrived at the scene to find multiple shell casings at that location, but a thorough search of the area had no injured victims.
A silver and a dark colored vehicle was observed by residents speeding from the scene immediately after gunfire erupted.
Police believe that the occupants of the vehicles may have fired upon each other during the incident.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
