Orange, East Orange Residents Among Four Arrested on Drug Charges Following Brick Traffic Stop

A woman and three males were arrested, after a search was performed at a Brick home.

According to police, on Sept 18th at 1:10 pm the Brick Drug Enforcement Unit, conducted a motor vehicle stop on Hooper Avenue near the rear of the Stop & Shop supermarket.

The motor vehicle stop lead to the arrest of 33-year-old Jeanette Larusso, from Brick, for an outstanding warrant and possession of Heroin.

As a result of that stop the DEU and the Ocean County Sherriff’s Department K-9 Unit conducted a search of her residence on North Pier Drive in the Sailors Quay section. The search lead to the arrest of 3 men identified as Justin Mcgriff, 19, from Orange, Michael Steltzer, 38, from Brick, and Daquan Summers, 18, from East Orange.

The search of the residence revealed that quantities of crack cocaine were allegedly being packaged for distribution. Approximately 70 wax folds of suspect Heroin and two bags Marijuana containing less than 50 grams and a total of $429 cash were seized.

All of the suspects were charged with the following Possession of CDS, Manufacturing/Distribution of Heroin/Cocaine, Possession of less than 50 Grams of --Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Mcgriff, Larussa and Steltzer were transported to the Ocean County Jail and Summers was charged and released on a Summons.

These arrests were the result of a several month long investigation by the Brick Township Drug Enforcement Unit.
