Police in Orange are on the search for a gunman who opened fire on a man in the city Sunday evening.
The incident unfolded in the 200 block of Wallace Street before 7 p.m. where police received reports of shots fired and a person down at that location.
Arriving units found the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the leg according to reports.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital in Newark where he is expected to survive.
According to preliminary reports, the victim would not cooperate with authorities.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
