Orange police are on the scene of a shooting with one person injured at this time in the city.
Gunfire erupted in the 300 block of North Street at around 7:15 p.m. rushing police to the scene where they located one person struck by gunfire.
The victim is being transported to University Hospital reportedly suffering a gunshot injury to the back.
Police are looking for a burgundy colored vehicle that fled the scene after opening fire in the area and is possibly occupied by about three people according to reports.
The extent of the victim's injuries are unknown at this time.
Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
