NJ Man Sentenced to 30 Years for Meth, Fentanyl Distribution

A Gloucester County man has been sentenced to decades in federal prison for his role in distributing large quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl across South Jersey.

According to a statement released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Ian Dudley, 39, of Williamstown, was sentenced on April 16, 2026, to 360 months (30 years) in prison, followed by five years of supervised release. 

The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Christine P. O’Hearn in Camden federal court.

 

Dudley was previously convicted by a jury on charges including conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, as well as six counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and/or fentanyl.

 

Federal prosecutors said that between June 2023 and October 2023, Dudley conspired with Joseph Watson and others to distribute crystal methamphetamine and fentanyl throughout Camden and Gloucester counties.

During that time, Dudley sold approximately 17.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and about one ounce of fentanyl to an undercover federal agent.
