Linden Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man this evening in the city.
Police say at approximately 7:15 p.m. units were dispatched to the 1300 block of Lincoln Street on reports of a shooting.
According to police, one male victim was reportedly injured in the incident.
EMS treated the victim on the scene and transported him to Newark University Hospital according to police.
