Police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital this evening in Orange.
Multiple rounds of shots fired that rang out in the 300 block of North Day Street had police on the scene shortly before 4:45 p.m where they searched the area and found evidence that s shooting occurred but no victim was located according to reports.
Officials at the University Hospital contacted police when a male victim entered the emergency department suffering a gunshot wound.
Orange Police are actively investigating the motive for the shooting.
The victim's injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening.
