Bergen County officials said a man was killed after a possible electrocution in River Vale earlier today.
According to officials, the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. on Demarest Avenue.
Police believe the 68-year-old man may have been doing yard work and come in contact with downed wires.
Authorities said it’s unclear if those wires were live or not.
The incident is being investigated as possible electrocution officials said.
