Monmouth County Authorities are investigating two separate shootings that sent two people to an area hospital overnight.
Police responded to reports of a shooting that occurred in the 200 block of Broadway where a male victim was shot and seriously injured around 2 a.m. EMS transported the man to Jersey Shore Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition.
A short time later, police responded to shots fired in the teens block of Long Branch Ave. where they found a male victim shot to the chest. The man was rushed to Jersey Shore Medical Center by EMS where he was listed in serious condition just after 2:30 a.m. .
Police are looking for 3-4 black males last seen in the area occupying a light colored Nissan Altima with tinted windows.
It was not immediately clear if the suspects are connected to both shootings.
