Firefighters in Linden battled a fast-moving early morning blaze that tore through a residential home on Miner Terrace Tuesday.

According to preliminary information, the fire broke out around 12:44 a.m. at 431 Miner Terrace.
Emergency dispatchers received multiple 911 calls reporting a fire at the two-story, single-family wood-framed house.

When crews arrived, they were met with heavy flames engulfing the structure. Firefighters immediately stretched several lines and began an aggressive attack on the fire.
Despite the intensity, crews were able to enter the home to search for anyone who may have been trapped or injured.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported during the search or suppression efforts.

It took firefighters under an hour to bring the blaze under control.
Mutual aid was not immediately confirmed, but the fast response and coordinated efforts of the Linden Fire Department prevented the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
