There were severe injuries reported for a teen who suffered a gunshot injury that occurred in the Orange overnight.
Gunfire rang out in the vicinity of North Day and Hawthorne streets at around 7:30 p.m. sending multiple police units to the scene where they canvassed the area and found a person shot in the 200 block of North Day Street.
According to reports, EMS rushed the 15-years-old to University Hospital in stable condition.
Witnesses observed several male suspects run from the scene immediately after the incident.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. There were no arrests reported by authorities.
In a separate shooting that occurred in the city, reports of shots fired erupted in the area of Taylor and Hickory streets at around 10:30 p.m. sending police to the scene where they located evidence that a shooting occurred but officers did not find a victim.
Police are searching for the suspect responsible for the shooting.
