Authorities in Atlantic County announced that on Wednesday, December 10, just before 4:00 a.m., the Galloway Township Police and Fire Departments responded to a structure fire at the 100 block of Waterview Drive.
A male occupant of the residence was removed from the scene and transported to a medical facility, where he is being treated for fire-related injuries, according to Atlantic County officials.
ACPO officials say the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office responded to the scene to assist Galloway Township with the fire investigation.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, ACPO officials stated.
