Duo Charged with Distribution of Heroin, Fentanyl in Ocean, Mercer Counties

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announce the culmination of a cooperative investigation with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office relative to the distribution of Heroin/Fentanyl in both Ocean and Mercer counties.

According to authorities, on Feb. 26th, Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, along with members of the Mercer County Special Investigations Unit, Mercer County Tactical Response Team, and Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, executed a Search Warrant at an address in Cranbury, New Jersey. As a result, more than 1,500 individual dosage units of Heroin/Fentanyl and a large quantity of MDMA/Ecstasy pills were seized.

Police arrested David Jones, 44, of Cranbury, and charged him with one Count of Distribution Over One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin/Fentanyl, one Count of conspiracy to Distribute Over One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of Heroin/Fentanyl, one Count of Possession With Intent to Distribute Less than One-Half Ounce of Heroin/Fentanyl, two Counts of Possession of Heroin/Fentanyl, one Count of Possession with the Intent to Distribute MDMA/Ecstasy and one Count of Possession of MDMA/Ecstasy. Jones is lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Police arrested and charged Allie Dickerson, 30, of Lakewood, with one Count of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Less than One Half Ounce of Heroin/Fentanyl, one Count of Possession of Heroin/Fentanyl, one Count of Possession with Intent to Distribute MDMA/Ecstasy and Possession of MDMA/Ecstasy. Dickerson was released pending a future court date.

Members of the public and the press are reminded that all defendants are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
