When the sound of gunfire ceased after several minutes, police and emergency medical personnel stormed the area where a brief search had cops locate a male vicim shot multiple times, bleeding heavily.

According to residents on Taylor Street, the boy was around the age of 15-years-old but they couldn't recall if the boy actually lived on the block. "A car just pulled up on a group of several "boys" who were sitting on a porch (as usual for them on a Friday evening) and began to fire shots until the gun ran out of ammunition apparently" a resident said.

EMS (performing life saving techniques) rushed the victim to University Hospital where his injuries were considered life threatening according to reports. There were reports of others who were possibly injured by gunfire but we couldn't confirm this as of 4:30 a.m.

Police set up a crime scene in the area where they recovered over a dozen shell casings in the area.

A motive for the shooting is under investigation.
