A car crash that caused a vehicle that overturned on Route 21 Saturday morning has Belleville Police investigating.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes of the highway in Belleville, shortly before noon, causing the vehicle to overturn then roll over according to reports.
A good Samaritan pulled the unconscious female driver from the vehicle and immediately began CPR on the 26-year-old Nutley resident, who is in her mid-twenties.
Police and EMS arrived a short time later to rushed the woman to the hospital where she is reportedly in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
The identity of the good Samaritan and the victim has not been provided at this time.
