Police have arrested four additional suspects tied to an April 25, 2025, shooting on Woodlawn Avenue, where gunfire was exchanged after a dispute and several vehicles were hit, authorities said.
No injuries were reported.
According to Linden Police, detectives—assisted by the Union County S.W.A.T. Team, Elizabeth Police Department, and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office–executed multiple search warrants in Elizabeth during the early morning hours of July 10, 2025.
Officers took Amare Baskerville, 19, and two 16-year-old juveniles into custody and recovered a stolen handgun.
A fourth suspect, Terrance Dove Jr., 18, surrendered later the same day.
Baskerville and Dove are each charged with second-degree aggravated assault, weapons possession, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
They were transported to the Essex County Jail following their arrests; court status was not immediately available.
A 16-year-old Linden male had previously been taken into custody in April and faces juvenile complaints of aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
Authorities stressed that charges are accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
The investigation is ongoing.
