Four tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $419,328 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Wednesday, Feb. 15 drawing.
The winning numbers were: 04, 08, 22, 30 and 37 and the XTRA number was: 02.
The lucky tickets were purchased at the following locations:
* Bergen County: Garden State News, 216 Old Tappan Rd., Old Tappan;
* Morris County: Stop & Shop #893, 245 Littleton Rd., Morris Plains;
* Ocean County: Country Farms 1, 193 Rte. 70 W. & Whitesville Rd., Toms River; and
* Passaic County: CP’S, 210 Main Ave. Clifton.
Executive Director Carole Hedinger said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Garden State News, Stop & Shop # 893, Country Farm 1, and CP’S. The retailers will each receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning tickets. Overnight, they have become four more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
Executive Director Carole Hedinger announced that there were 512,731 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 88 ticketholders won $516 each and 10 others won $1,032 each with the addition of XTRA.
Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 3,358 ticketholders won $14 each and 494 others won $28 each with the addition of XTRA.
Lastly, 5,861 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
