There is a large crime scene established in a Bloomfield community as police investigate a shooting with reports of injuries at this time.
Gunfire rang out in the vicinity of Bloomfield Avenue and North 17th Street at around 8:50 am sending more than a dozen police officers to the scene where they taped off the block to launch the investigation.
At least one person is suffering injuries from the shooting but the extent of the victim's injuries have not been confirmed at this time.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
Avoid the area.
