Union County authorities are on the scene of a bank robbery in Union Township a short time ago.
According to a preliminary investigation, a male suspect entered the TD Bank located at 995 Morris Avenue and reportedly passed a note to a teller before 3:45 p.m.
The suspect was last seen wearing a jacket that looked like an Amazon Prime employee.
Police have not confirmed how much cash the suspect took before he fled the scene on foot towards Elizabeth.
Officers searched the area near Ursino Park and apprehended the suspect around 4:20 p.m.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
