Authorities in Linden are looking into a reported armed robbery of a business in the city Tuesday.
According to a preliminary investigation, at approximately 5:15 p.m., police were called to 1732 East St. Georges Avenue (Park Drugs Pharmacy complex) to investigate reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Officers who arrived were told by employees that a male with a weapon in hand stole over $700 in cash from the establishment.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been apprehended by police.
Police reported no physical injuries.
