Camden Metro Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the city Sunday.
The early morning incident happed before 3:40 a.m. in the vicinity of Louis Street and Kaighns Avenue.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim struck by gunfire, according to police.
Police rushed the victim to an area hospital for treatment while several units conducted a crime scene investigation back at the shooting scene.
The condition of the victim could not be confirmed as of 5 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting.
