Linden Police officers are on the scene of a shooting with a woman down suffering multiple gunshot wounds at this time.
There is an active crime scene on Center Street as detectives canvas the area searching for evidence after they found the victim shot at that location.
One person was detained at the scene and is believed to be the suspect responsible for the shooting.
No other injuries have been reported at this time and the motive has not been determined.
The extent of the victim’s injuries have not been confirmed.
UPDATE: Non-life threatening domestic violence incident. Woman shot inside home. Suspect surrendered.
