Police are on the scene of shots fired with several people down at a location in the city at this time.
Multiple round of gunfire erupted in the 300 block of Cleveland Street sending police to the scene where they located at least three people suffering injuries after being shot.
One of the victims is reported to have "life threatening injuries at this time.
Police are looking for a light colored vehicle, possibly an Audi, that raced away from the scene immediately after the shooting.
All of the victims are en route to University Hospital at this time.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
Mutual assistance is being requested from East Orange, Montclair, and Glen Ridge.
