Authorities announced the arrests of Samuel Irizarry, 26, of Paterson, Jenece Miranda, 26, Paterson and Alma Rivera, 35, of Paterson, on charges of Distribution of Cocaine and Child Endangerment.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force in August 2017, received information that Samuel Irizarry, aka “FAME”, was trafficking cocaine from Paterson into Bergen County, and an investigation was initiated.

During the course of the subsequent investigation, Irizarry distributed cocaine to undercover detectives in various towns throughout Bergen County on multiple occasions.

Police while under surveillance on November 28th, witnessed Irizarry, Miranda and Rivera conduct a drug transaction for over one ounce of cocaine, all in the presence of Irizarry’s and Miranda’s two-year-old child.

Police subsequently arrested Irizarry, Miranda and Rivera and charged them with one count of Distribution of Cocaine in an amount greater than one-half ounce but less than five ounces and one count of Child Endangerment. Irizarry received an additional charge of Distribution of Cocaine.

All three suspects are scheduled for first appearances in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court on Wednesday, December 13th.

Prosecutor Grewal states that these charges are merely accusations and that the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
